THE COFFEE BAR
Now that school is back in session the Coffee Bar will be open in the Library, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM excluding holidays.
Coffee, tea, cocoa, cold drinks, and snacks will be available.
It's a nice time of day to cool off and slow down. A great time to visit the Library and relax with an item from the Coffee Bar.
BOOK SALES
The Volunteers of the "Friends of the Library" will continue with the used Book Sale the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Mark it on you calendar and tell your "friends". You can get great bargains on all types of wonderful books.
You can also donate your used book to the Library during regular business hours.
The books should be taken to the circulation desk. Please do not put donated books in the outdoor drop off.
All donations are greatly appreciated.
DONATIONS
All proceed from the Coffee Bar and Book Sale as well a various other events goes directly to help the Parkland Library to promote, advocate, and endure quality library service.
With major budget cut backs the Library needs our support more then ever. A donation can be made various ways.
Click on "Join Us", to use Paypale or mail a check to the Library made payable to The Parkland Friends of the Library.
You can also drop your donation off at the circulation desk the next time you are in the library.
